Why us
TIG Welding in Poltava — INSORTEX: clean beads, strength, repeatability
TIG (GTAW) is the go-to process when you need clean, aesthetic and strong welds. It produces virtually no spatter or sparks, keeps heat input under control and yields neat beads that look good even before any finishing. For stainless steel, aluminium and thin mild steel this translates into stable geometry, corrosion resilience (on stainless) and predictable assembly. At INSORTEX we front-load engineering: joint types, leg/root sizes, bevels, sealing requirements and finishing are agreed before production so parts fit without rework and the visible seams pass the eye test.
Where TIG shines & materials we weld
Choose TIG for stainless (AISI 304/316) when corrosion resistance and cosmetics matter; for aluminium we run AC to break the oxide layer and achieve clean fusion; for mild/carbon steel we run DC with proper filler. We handle butt, fillet, T-joints, laps and beveled edges, build sealed tanks/ ducts/collectors and make visible seams on enclosures and panels. Bead appearance, penetration and distortion are balanced to match your function and finish.
- Materials: stainless AISI 304/316, aluminium 5xxx/6xxx, mild steel.
- Process: TIG (GTAW) AC/DC under argon, matched filler wires.
- Joints: butt / fillet / T / lap / beveled; thin to mid-gauge sheet and profiles.
- Finish options: brushed, satin, polished for visible areas.
- QC: visual & dimensional, optional dye penetrant for sealing/defect checks.
Preparation & files
Great TIG starts with edge prep: bevels, gaps, clean surfaces and the right filler. Please mark in drawings the weld symbols, leg/root sizes, length & pitch for intermittent runs, and any sealing/finishrequirements. Preferred formats: DXF/DWG/PDF in millimetres. If you only have a sketch, we’ll produce shop-ready drawings and, when helpful, simple jigs/fixtures to keep geometry tight. For stainless/aluminium we align cosmetic expectations (face/back, grain direction) to avoid unnecessary rework later.
Bead appearance & finishing
TIG yields neat, low-spatter beads. Where seams remain visible we can grind flush, brush to a uniform satin or polish. On sanitary stainless we pay attention to leg size and penetration to avoid crevices; on aluminium we manage heat to keep panels flat. Sealed assemblies undergo leak tests; on request we add dye-penetrantinspection for surface indications. Series parts are labelled and kit-packed for efficient installation.
Process, lead times & logistics
Send your files; we typically quote within 15–60 minutes during business hours, lock the schedule and start. Most jobs complete in 1–3 days; rush slots depend on capacity. Shipping via Nova Poshta/courier across Ukraine or pickup from our site. We can add cutting, bending, rolling, threading, grinding/polishing and powder coating so you receive assemblies that fit first time.
Why INSORTEX
We think beyond the bead: assembly, sealing and service life matter. Expect practical questions upfront, manufacturable suggestions before launch and schedules we actually meet. With INSORTEX you get clean, strong, repeatable TIG welds with minimal spatter, stainless/aluminium cosmetics done right and assemblies that go together without drama.
